- “Streha” Center Background
Streha Center provides services to the LGBTIQ+ community in Albania and the region in cases of emergencies, including shelter and other psycho-social services for the empowerment of LGBTI+ individuals. The aim of Streha is to empower and assist LGBTIQ+ individuals, mainly youth, through its multidisciplinary and residential services, capacity-building of service providers, public awareness, and advocacy, in order to overcome barriers and difficulties faced by the LGBTI+ community in families and society.
- Project Background
The main objective of the project “Albanian Rainbow Youth Empowerment Initiative is to improve LGBTI+ people’s situation in Albania by empowering them and changing negative stereotypes associated with the LGBTI+ community. As part of the project, various visibility materials such as posters, banners, brochures, and other promotional items are to be designed to raise awareness and promote the initiative’s activities.
- Objective
The objective of this ToR is to recruit a Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager who will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality visual content for the project’s social media channels, printed materials, and promotional campaigns.
- Scope of Work
The Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Design engaging and on-brand graphics for use on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create visuals for a social media campaign, including infographics, and digital advertisements.
- Design posters, flyers, brochures, and other print materials to support project activities and events.
- Ensure all designs align with the project’s branding guidelines and contribute to a cohesive visual identity.
- Work closely with the project team to understand design requirements, provide creative input, and adjust designs based on feedback.
- Submit all designs in the appropriate formats and ensure that print materials are ready for production.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (text, images, videos) for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
- Maintain a regular posting schedule and ensure timely and engaging content for all platforms.
- Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
- Provide monthly reports to the Project Coordinator summarizing social media performance, key metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all social media activity aligns with the ethical standards of the project, promoting respect, diversity, and inclusion, particularly regarding LGBTIQ+ rights.Maintain confidentiality when managing sensitive cases or engaging with beneficiaries through social media.Promote a positive and inclusive online environment, ensuring that all content adheres to the project’s values.
- Deliverables
- Monthly Social Media Content: A set of graphics and visuals tailored for the project’s social media channels, delivered on a monthly basis.
- Campaign Materials: All required visual content for the social media campaign, delivered according to the campaign timeline.
- Print Materials: Finalized designs for posters, flyers, and other printed materials as needed by the project.

- Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in graphic design and social media managing, particularly in creating social media content and print materials.
- Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in social media campaigns and printed materials.
- Creativity: Ability to develop unique and compelling visual concepts that resonate with the target audience.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the project team and adapt to feedback.
