FEANTSA, the European Federation of National Organizations Working with the Homeless, published recently the European Framework for Defining Youth Homelessness, to help services and policy makers understand the specific needs young people experiencing homelessness possess.

Streha has been selected as one of the 17 best practices in Europe, which is helping youth overcome homelessness and all social hurdles that come with it.

This practices in this publication build on the work of our European Framework by providing insights to services that meet the diverse needs of young people. 

186 young LGBTI + people who have experienced difficult life situations have been helped by Streha over the past years.

“This framework took an intersectional perspective and highlighted the different profiles that exist within youth homelessness and the challenges that youth can face in exiting homelessness. This guide is a follow-on report which aims to share insights, ideas and practices for how services across Europe can respond to the needs of young people.”, declares the network on their public announcement following the report.
